5 Years Later, Rush Limbaugh Is Still Talking About ‘Anal Poisoning’
You know how people refer to sycophants as ass-kissers? Well, Rush Limbaugh has a variation on that: “anal poisoning.” He used a few times in 2009 and he was back to using it again on his show today.
Back in ’09, Limbaugh talked about former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and said if he doesn’t slop “slobbering” over Obama, he’ll “come down with anal poisoning.” He said it another time in reference to the close relationship of John McCain and Lindsey Graham in a remark that even some conservatives called over-the-line.
Limbaugh’s mention of it earned him a place on Urban Dictionary, and if you search “anal poisoning” on Google, it’s flooded with links to Limbaugh saying it.
And today, he used it to describe the media’s worship of President Obama. He asked, “How many Republicans would pay the press money for the kind of sycophantic, anal-poisoning, suck-up coverage that he gets?”
Best not to dwell on that thought too long.
