A Star Is Born: Kidnapping Rescue Hero Charles Ramsey Gets Immortalized In Song(ify)

Although he has resisted efforts to dub him a hero, cable news gold-spinner Charles Ramsey has become a sensation with his folksy, unfiltered, and colorful interviews about his rescue of Cleveland kidnapping survivor Amanda Berry. Ramsey’s efforts also led to the rescue of Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight, as well as Berry’s young daughter, and the apprehension of their three captors. Now, several of his interviews have been sourced into a viral video that immortalizes Ramsey’s heroic pearls in song, using the Songify app.

Mr. Ramsey’s actions, and the humility and candor with which he recounts them, should serve as an example to other citizens who wonder if they should “get involved.”
