Aaron Sorkin Apologizes to Apple CEO Tim Cook: ‘Went a Little Too Far’

sorkinAaron Sorkin apologized to Apple CEO Tim Cook after publicly scolding him for his criticisms of Sorkin’s upcoming Steve Jobs movie.

When Cook sat down with Stephen Colbert earlier this month, he dismissed “opportunistic” movies looking to tell their versions of Jobs’ story.

In an interview a few days ago, Sorkin fired back and said, “If you’ve got a factory full of children in China assembling phones for 17 cents an hour you’ve got a lot of nerve calling someone else opportunistic.”

Well, in an interview with E! Online, Sorkin apologized and said both of them probably went too far, praising Apple products while still encouraging Cook to see the movie.
