“CNN” Twitter Account’s Explicit Tweets: Fake Or Hacked? (Updated)

Last month it was a Fox News Twitter feed that appeared to be hacked – it was later found to be a fake. Today, it looks like it’s the same story for a CNN account. @CNN_All had some explicit tweets earlier today, and now the account has written to say the account was hacked.

Here are the few that got through:

One tweet said: “Blagojevich to Howard Stern: “My assistant got a blow job & I got f–ked.”

Another, already deleted tweet, followed up with “Holy Shit!!”

At about 4:15pmET, this tweet went out:

Sorry about that folks. We must have been hacked for a second. Fixing our password, RSS Feeds, etc.

The account is described as: “All the CNN Twitter accounts in one place!” which happens to be the same description for Fox News’ fake account. Still, this one is up and running.

> Update at 5:45pmET: CNN tells us it is in fact a fake account – their real account (which does something similar) is @AllCNN. They are working with Twitter to get the problem resolved.
