Anthony Weiner Gets One Particularly Mustachioed Endorsement From On ‘High’
Anthony Weiner –ahem, Carlos Danger– may be floundering in his campaign for NYC mayor, with new sexting allegations and a potty-mouthed communications director, but he may be able to finally breathe a sigh of relief. After a parade of officials and citizens calling on him to stop running for mayor, it seems one person may have his back after all: Jimmy McMillan, karate expert, purveyor of mustache-themed products, and complainer about high rents.
Yep, Weiner has officially been endorsed by the “Rent is Too Damn High” guy from the most last New York gubernatorial race, where his showy debate performance garnered laughs even from the moderators. McMillan just posted a picture of the two men together along with his “official” endorsement:
The gravity of the situation was perhaps lessened by the fact that the next most recent tweet on his account was a plea to help Papa Smurf:
On the other hand, combining these two is yet another godsend for the comedians following “Weinergate” Part II, the gift that keeps on giving New Yorkers serious doubts about the state of city politics.
