Anyone Surprised? Dennis Rodman Checks into Alcohol Rehab

In today’s edition of “News That Should Surprise No One”: Dennis Rodman, ex-NBA star and BFF to North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, has reportedly checked himself into rehab for his alcoholism.

Rodman’s agent Darren Prince declined to disclose the exact facility or how long he plans to stay. The rehab stint comes on the heels of Rodman’s latest basketball diplomacy trip to North Korea, in which he sang a bizarrely sensual rendition of “Happy Birthday” to the dictator and blew up on CNN’s Chris Cuomo when asked about Kenneth Bae, an American imprisoned in North Korea.

Rodman later apologized for the outburst, admitting he had been drinking before going on-set for the CNN interview.

And so here we are. Rodman’s in rehab.
