Ashley Graham on Her Controversial Vogue Cover: ‘I Chose to Pose Like That’

Yesterday, Vogue released the cover for its March issue. The issue is meant to celebrate “Modern American Women,” and it also celebrates the magazine’s 125th anniversary. When the cover was revealed, the magazine got a lot of backlash via social media due to the fact that Ashley Graham‘s pose was different than the other models. People also believe Gigi Hadid‘s arm is photoshopped to make Graham look thinner.
Graham has been posting photos from the shoot to her social media, including one of the cover with the caption “Dream. Come. True! THANK YOU @voguemagazine for having me on your cover!!”
And, she responded to the controversy in the comments section of the photo, saying “I chose to pose like that..no one told me to do anything.”

There you have it.
