Bart Simpson Calls Putin a Dickhead in Mysterious Ukrainian Video

Russian President and 2005 Super Bowl champion Vladimir Putin is once again being called a dickhead in the Ukraine. This time the culprit is Bart Simpson.

A doctored video of The Simpsons opening credits passes through the familiar sights of Springfield, except for a billboard showing a naked Putin riding a horse in Crimea, and then Bart Simpson writing “Putin Huylo” on the chalkboard.

That insult roughly translates to “Putin is a dickhead,” and it’s been a popular response in Ukraine, previously used by Ukraine’s acting Foreign Minister Andriy Deshchytsia.

There’s no clue yet as to the provenance of the video, though The Washington Post confirmed with Fox that the clip is doctored and was never part of an actual episode.

The Simpsons seem to have a knack for getting dragged into geopolitical battles. Recently an Egyptian television station alleged that an episode from the early aughts predicted the Syrian Civil War.
