Bobby Jindal Officially Announces Presidential Run
Republican Governor of Lousiana Bobby Jindal announced on Twitter Wednesday that he is officially running for president in 2016.
On his announcement page, Jindal posted videos of him and his wife Supriya informing their three children of their decision. His daughter Selia agreed on the condition that she be given a puppy.

The former U.S. Congressman and Rhodes Scholar faces an uphill battle. The most recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds Jindal polling at less than one percent nationwide among Republican voters. 36% of primary voters said they could see themselves supporting Jindal, while 28% said they could not. But a huge number of primary voters, 34%, say they simply aren’t sure yet.
