Local authorities in Palmdale, CA are responding to reports of an active shooter at Highland High School.
Details are scarce at the moment, but indications suggest that the local sheriff’s office is on the move after hearing that shots were fired around the school.
UPDATE – 11:18 a.m. EST: The LA County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that someone has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.

1 Firearm recovered.
