Caitlyn Jenner Tweets to Trump ‘Trans People Won’t Be Erased’ After NYT Report

Caitlyn Jenner took to Twitter yesterday with a message for President Donald Trump over an alarming new report about proposed anti-trans administration policy.

The New York Times reported Sunday that the Trump White House is “considering narrowly defining gender as a biological, immutable condition determined by genitalia at birth, the most drastic move yet in a governmentwide effort to roll back recognition and protections of transgender people under federal civil rights law.”

The report has led to much shock and condemnation that such a rollback would even be considered, including from Jenner:

Jenner, who voted for Trump, has been outspoken about what a disappointment he has been on LGBTQ rights. But her past support for him came up in a lot of the Twitter responses:
