So, Kanye West has been indoctrinated into the world of politics, on which he has many “free thoughts,” including that “the mob can’t make [him] not love” President Donald Trump.

Now – sort of like how the fellow Gryffindors chanted “We got Potter! We got Potter!” when Harry was sorted – Republicans are kind of freaking out that they have Kanye on their side.

But being at Hogwarts isn’t all about the joy of magic – you have to learn to use it. And that’s what Kanye’s friends are trying to do for him in the world of American politics.

An unknown friend named Steve wrote to Yeezy telling him that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican who freed the slaves and Democrats wanted to fight to keep the institution:

That’s when John Legend, who first engaged Kanye during his Matrix-breaking tweet storm, stepped in to counter this “Steve”:

New York radio host Charlamagne Tha God also got in touch with Kanye to save him from the influence of uninformed “Steve”:
