Charles Oakley to Attend Knicks Game Tonight…In Cleveland

It is hard to fathom, in retrospect, how former New York Knicks great Charles Oakley‘s feud with Knicks owner James Dolan dominated much of the national sports conversation for a full week. But given that it did, we’d be remiss not to update you on the latest development.
Tonight, Charles Oakley will attend his first Knicks game since the incident.
The catch? The game is in Cleveland.
ESPN.com reports that Oakley will be on hand tonight at Quicken Loans Arena when the Knicks take the floor against the Cavs.
“Oak will be in his hometown of Cleveland,” said spokesman Akhtar Farzaie. “When in Cleveland, he always tried to attend a Cavs game.”
Following a summit of sorts with NBA commissioner Adam Silver and Michael Jordan, Oakley’s ban from Madison Square Garden was lifted. But Oakley says he would not accept an invitation to return to the Garden, as he is still upset about Dolan publicly suggesting Oakley is an alcoholic.
