Cher Opens Up To Leno About ‘Teabaggers’: “I Think They Are F*cking Nuts”

On the eve of Thanksgiving, Tonight Show host Jay Leno appeared to be goading his guest and interview subject Cher into sharing her thoughts on Sarah Palin and the Tea Party movement. Cher seemed to not want to take the bait, recognizing her true thoughts would get her into trouble. Only until she realized that Leno was seeking a “water cooler moment” did she provide her honest opinion.

Cher is not only promoting a new movie, but she is the recent recipient of a Lifetime Achievement for Glamour‘s Women of the Year. Designer Bob Mackie said of her: “She’s an original, unique. There’s nobody quite like her. There have been others who have tried, but it doesn’t work. She is just herself.”

Yes, she is.
