Chicago Teachers Union Head Calls Illinois Gov. ‘ISIS Recruit,’ Guilty of ‘Acts of Terror’
The head of the Chicago Teachers Union did not hold back in her criticisms of Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner, rhetorically accusing him of being an “ISIS recruit” and guilty of committing “acts of terror.”
“Rauner is the new ISIS recruit,” CTU President Karen Lewis said at a speech to City Club of Chicago, according to CBS Chicago.
“Has Homeland Security checked this man out yet?” Lewis said. “Because the things he’s doing look like acts of terror on poor and working class people.”
“I think he’s holding people hostage,” she added. “Who does that? who does that?…because you can’t get something else you want that has nothing to do with a budget? It’s ideological. That’s terrorism.”
