CNN’s Lemon on Chapel Hill: Muslims Do Feel They’re Getting Lots of Hate Lately

CNN’s Don Lemon talked on the radio this morning about the Chapel Hill shooting of three Muslim students, and he said whether or not it was a hate crime, Muslims do feel like they’ve been “receiving a lot of hate lately.”

At this point, it might be a traffic dispute, but people close to the three victims believe they were specifically killed because of their beliefs.

Lemon brought up the hate Muslims believe they’ve been getting, and broadened the discussion to question “all the vitriol for people” that seems to mostly be concentrated around social media where people are “outraged for the sake of being outraged’ and constantly try to one-up each other’s outrage.
