Cohen Raid Reportedly Sought Info Related To Infamous Trump Access Hollywood ‘P*ssy Tape’

The New York Times reported Wednesday that FBI prosecutors who raided Trump lawyer Michael Cohen‘s offices were looking for information on, among other things, the Access Hollywood tape that is widely known as “the pussy tape.”
In case you’ve been lucky enough to push it out of your mind, here’s a refresher: In 2005, now-President Donald Trump and Billy Bush were on a bus discussing fame and its alleged perks. Trump asserted that he could do anything he wanted with women due to his fame, including “grab[bing] ’em by the pussy.” The fallout from the unearthing of this tape was close to disastrous for the Trump campaign.
The fact that prosecutors wanted information regarding the tape from Cohen’s files indicates that the scope of their investigation is wider than was initially believed. Cohen’s role regarding the tape, if he had one to begin with, is unknown.
The FBI also wanted documents related to Cohen’s payments to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal, among other women. McDougal and Daniels alleged that they had affairs with Trump. Cohen is also being investigated for bank fraud and improper campaign donations.
To put it mildly: It appears that for Michael Cohen, shit may really be hitting the fan.
