David Axelrod ‘Amazed and Appalled’ by Liberals Applauding Sarah Sanders’ Restaurant Expulsion
Former Obama senior advisor and CNN commentator David Axelrod blasted liberals for their delight in Press Secretary Sarah Sanders being booted from a Lexington, VA restaurant, condemning it as a victory for President Donald Trump.
“Kind of amazed and appalled by the number of folks on Left who applauded the expulsion of @PressSec and her family from a restaurant,” he tweeted Sunday, calling it “a triumph for @realDonaldTrump vision of America.”
“Now we’re divided by red plates & blue plates,” he warned.

Just after Sanders entered the Red Hen Friday evening, its owner asked her to leave because of her position within the Trump administration, something with which the restaurant felt uncomfortable.
The incident has sparked a variety of reactions from the left and right, some believing it to be unfair and others contending the administration’s associates are undeserving of respect.
Tweeting about the matter Saturday, Sanders said the owners action speaks for itself.
“Her actions say far more about her than about me,” Sanders said. “I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.”
Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so
