Dem Senator Will Have a Cameo in Batman v Superman

Senator Debbie Stabenow confirmed on a radio show today that she has a cameo role in the upcoming superhero epic Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Michigan Democrat confirmed the news in an appearance on Michigan’s Big Show today about her small role in the film, which is being filmed in Detroit.

Stabenow revealed that she was one of 300 extras they brought in for a scene in the DC Comics movie. But beyond that, Stabenow really couldn’t comment further on her role or whether she has a speaking part. She did praise the film for taking a change on filming in her state.

Traditionally, the politician most likely to cameo in a superhero movie, especially a Batman one, has been Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy, a self-professed Batman fan who had a pretty intense face-off with the Joker in The Dark Knight.
