Knife-Wielding Man in France Shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ Shot Dead on Hebdo Anniversary
On the one year anniversary of the Charlie Hebdo attacks in France that killed twelve and left eleven injured, a man has been reportedly shot dead by French police in the city of Goutte d’Or after brandishing a knife and a fake suicide vest. The man allegedly attempted to enter a French police station shouting “Allahu Akbar” before being killed.

According to reports from the BBC, police brought in explosive wiring experts to determine that the man’s vest was a fake. Three days ago the publication Charlie Hebdo made headlines again for a cartoon blasting religious extremism to go along with the one year anniversary of the attacks.
