Did You Know Jim Gilmore Was Running for President? Doesn’t Matter Because Now He’s Not!
The Ballad of Jim Gilmore is a long, tragic epic that ends in a defeat we predicted five months ago. He was running for president and even got 12 people to caucus for him in spite of the fact that no one knew he was running, but all good things must come to an end.
Gilmore’s campaign was a master class in perseverance. We respected him. When he was excluded from the debates, he fought like hell to get into one.
Sadly, sometimes, fighting is just not enough. After all, no one remembers who came in second.
He plans to continue fighting the good fight. He is more inspirational than the posters on the wall of a fourth-grade classroom.
I will do all I can to see that our next President is a free enterprise Republican who will restore our nation to greatness and keep us safe

Rest in peace, Gilmore for America.
