Donald Trump Bails on CPAC

Trump CPACAfter being scheduled to give a keynote address at the influential Conservative Political Action Conference Saturday morning, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has cancelled his appearance.

CPAC announced Trump’s decision Friday afternoon.

Trump quickly put out his own statement explaining his decision, misspelling the state and city he was traveling to in the process. “The Donald J. Trump for President Campaign announced it will be in Witchita [sic], Kanasas [sic] for a major rally on Saturday prior to [the] Caucus…” the statement read. “Because of this, he will not be able to speak at CPAC.”

Trump’s decision comes after he gave an interview to Fox News’ Sean Hannity Thursday night, with Hannity broadcasting live from CPAC. Many in the crowd could be heard loudly booing Trump when Hannity announced his name.

In addition, CPAC’s audience loudly applauded anti-Trump lines from Mark Levin and Tea Party Patriots’ Jenny Beth Martin Friday morning.
