Donna Brazile on CNN Debate Questions Controversy: Emails Didn’t Tell ‘Complete Story’

Donna Brazile, now no longer the interim chair of the DNC, once again addressed the controversy.
She spoke with Politico‘s Edward-Isaac Dovere about how “scared” she was after being briefed about hacking last year, and talked about threats she received as the WikiLeaks dumps continued.
But Brazile also addressed the issue about questions it appeared she had passed along from CNN to Team Clinton. After these revelations came out, CNN formally severed ties with her.
Brazile is now saying, “The emails that were allegedly sent to me, or sent from me, you know, told a story, but it didn’t tell the complete story.”
She again insisted that CNN “never provided questions” and said that she was “one of the officers who took the lead on expanding the number of debates and negotiating on behalf of the candidates to expand the debates and to work with various networks.”
“If you go back and look at the topics,” she said, “if you go back and look at the questions, those questions, those topics appeared to coincide at the same time we were expanding the participation of other networks and to hosting debates.”
