Edward Snowden Smacks Trump’s Claim Comey Couldn’t Review Clinton’s Emails in 8 Days
NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden is throwing cold water on the Donald Trump campaign’s theory that James Comey couldn’t have possibly reviewed Hillary Clinton‘s new emails so quickly.
The FBI director shook up the 2016 election yet again when he announced that his new probe on Clinton yielded nothing to make him change his mind and recommend criminal charges against her. Trump has been praising Comey recently for his previous letter to Congress, but after yesterday’s news, he and his supporters have argued that there’s no way the FBI could’ve actually finished their review.
Journalist and political blogger Jeff Jarvis decided to ask a certain someone about whether there’s any truth to Trump’s claim. Snowden eventually replied, and his answer was a negative:

The FBI reportedly gave the Clinton probe their full attention in order to make sure it was finished before the election. Also, officials stated that almost every email on Anthony Weiner‘s computer was a previously-reviewed duplicate, while the few messages that were new didn’t have anything to do with government matters.
