Eric Holder Speech Interrupted by ‘No Justice, No Peace!’ Protesters

Eric Holder spoke tonight in Atlanta on Ferguson and police issues, but at one point he was interrupted by protesters who started loudly chanting “No justice, no peace!”

Holder was talking about violence in Ferguson and saying that such action is not what Michael Brown‘s own family wanted. Protesters proceeded to shout over Holder. They continued to shout as they were escorted out of the room.

Holder said, when he got the opportunity to speak again, that while some would condemn that action, “what we saw there was a genuine expression of concern and involvement.”

And he addressed the protesters directly, saying, “I ain’t mad at you, all right?”
