Facebook Deletes Texan Cheerleader’s Photos of Dead Exotic Game
Last week we brought you the story of 19-year-old Texas Tech cheerleader Kendall Jones and her plethora of Facebook photos of her posing with recently-killed exotic game in Africa. Despite a swarm of outrage over the images demanding their removal, Jones originally stood firm, explaining to her followers that she enjoys hunting as part of a conservation effort.
As it turns out, Facebook eventually did remove the photographs.
Gone from Jones’ page are the images of her standing over a dead lion, a dead elephant, and a dead leopard. All that remains are photos of the young woman with her weapons, or with a rhino that she helped tranquilize for emergency care.
She did get around the photo removals, however, by re-posting a Fox News-made collage of her images:
