FBI Investigating Threats Against Bergdahl’s Parents
The FBI said Saturday it was investigating reports of threats to the parents of freed Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. The Bureau declined to comment on the nature and severity of the threats, but said, “We are working jointly with our state and local partners and taking each threat seriously.”

Bergdahl’s parents, especially father Robert Bergdahl, were quite visible last weekend at a Rose Garden announcement of their son’s release and a press conference the next day. Since then, however, they have not appeared in public, and reports over the weekend indicated Bergdahl, who is recovering at a military hospital in Germany, did not desire to speak to them yet.
