FLASHBACK: Seth MacFarlane Joked in 2013 About Actresses Pretending to Be Attracted to Weinstein

One of the big new exposés on Harvey Weinstein brings up a moment from the 2013 Oscar nominations announcements that seems pretty resonant in hindsight.

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane and actress Emma Stone co-presented the nominations four years ago. They announced the nominees for Best Supporting Actress––Sally Field, Anne Hathaway, Jacki Weaver, Helen Hunt, and Amy Adams––when MacFarlane made this joke:

“Congratulations, you five ladies no longer have to pretend to be attracted to Harvey Weinstein.”

In addition, there was a rather prescient 30 Rock joke about Weinstein from 2012:
