FLASHBACK –– Trump Praised Bannon After He Left the White House: ‘Thanks S’

President Trump‘s statement today torching the hell out of Steve Bannon brings to mind the way-more-positive words the President had for him immediately after he left the White House.
In the statement, Trump says, “When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind.”
He even brings up the campaign and says, “Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country.”
But after Bannon left the White House in August, Trump praised both him and Breitbart:
I want to thank Steve Bannon for his service. He came to the campaign during my run against Crooked Hillary Clinton – it was great! Thanks S

Steve Bannon will be a tough and smart new voice at @BreitbartNews…maybe even better than ever before. Fake News needs the competition!

And days before Bannon left, during his infamous Charlottesville press conference, Trump defended Bannon as a friend and said the press treats him unfairly:
President Trump on Steve Bannon, Aug. 15, 2017:
"I like Mr. Bannon, he's a friend of mine … He's a good man, he is not a racist, I can tell you that. He's a good person. He actually gets a very unfair press in that regard." pic.twitter.com/FnUaSiQl46
