WATCH: Former NFL Star Aaron Hernandez Found Guilty of First Degree Murder

 

Former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez was found guilty of all charges today in his murder trial, including first degree murder and unlawful weapons charges.

Hernandez, a tight end who played in the Super Bowl, was arrested in 2013 for the murder of his friend Odin Lloyd, and faces life in prison without the possibility of parole (Massachusetts has abolished the death penalty). Sentencing will occur soon.

Hernandez was convicted of first-degree murder with extreme atrocity or cruelty, as well as unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful possession of ammunition.

In addition, Hernandez faces two separate murder charges from incidences in 2012.
