In Battle Between A Wind Tunnel And A Fox News’ Reporter, The Wind Tunnel Wins
I guess I should be complaining that this Fox News segment has no news value whatsoever. I probably I should point out that it seems entirely designed to sell General Motors cars*. I suppose I should be saying all sorts of things about the following clip. However, all I can really muster up is, “Oh my God, look at that dude get hit with all that wind! Awesome!”
The video shows Fox News’ Jeff Flock demonstrating the power of the wind tunnel in General Motors (sweet, sweet General Motors) on, first, a car (a sweet, sweet, new Chevy Cruze) and then on himself. The wind is so powerful that it knocks Flock down and the battery right out of his microphone. Fortunately, Flock is a veteran of many a hurricane report so he manages to get back on his feet soon enough. Still…dude getting hit with wind equals funny. Also, can we please make that smoke wand thing part of the rhythmic gymnastics section of the Olympics? It’s so much cooler than ribbon dancing.
*Of course, I shouldn’t give Fox that much heat for product placement. Advertisements are a necessary part of the world. After all, we live in a capitalist society. That’s “Capitalism” with a capital “C.” A big…red…capital “C.”
