Fox’s Bolling Slams Roland Martin as ‘Lame-Ass FAKE Hypocrite’ in Quickly Deleted Tweet (UPDATED)
Right before our eyes, a delightful right v. left feud is quickly developing, and the two suspects involved have gone from 0-100 REAL quick.
It seems to have started with this PolitiFact piece that examined a recent statement by Fox News’ Eric Bolling:
“President Obama’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (was) a fancy name for almost a trillion-dollar spending bill. The ARRA was supposed to fix our crumbling roads and bridges,” but now, “we have absolutely nothing to show for it.”
PolitiFact rated this statement “Mostly False,” indicating that Bolling grossly exaggerated the shortcomings of the bill in question. PolitiFact wrote, “We found Bolling exaggerated several key points about the legislation — its main purpose was not to fix crumbling roads and bridges. An effort to contact Bolling through Fox News was unsuccessful.”
Roland Martin of News One hopped in to pounce on top of Bolling, taking to Twitter to slam the Fox News host for his anti-Obama falsehood:
Shocking! @EricBolling exaggerates? Say it ain’t so! https://t.co/a7ICmkEaKu

Bolling’s response was swift. It was also promptly deleted, but not before Mediaite managed a screengrab of the comment.
Bolling, who called Martin a “lame-ass FAKE journalist hypocrite” in his response, also drew attention to the fact that Martin was implicated in the Podesta hacked email scandal from WikiLeaks. Martin, who co-moderated a Democratic Town Hall earlier this year, was allegedly involved in releasing questions in advance alongside Donna Brazile to the Hillary Clinton campaign.
But in the place where Bolling’s tweet mysteriously vanished now stands a pillorying by Martin, who has seized on the exchange to pounce viciously on the Fox News personality.
Lame ass is a wanna be like you @EricBolling who would continuously lie on TV about the stimulus bill and pass it off as real news. https://t.co/XLcFoPyt06

And Eric, if you actually want to debate a real journalist, call me anytime. The @FoxNews bookers have my number. ANY DAY. ANY TIME. https://t.co/XLcFoPyt06
— rolandsmartin (@rolandsmartin) November 30, 2016
But I also notice, lame ass @EricBolling, you can’t dispute @PolitiFact‘s assessment of your lying about the stimulus bill. https://t.co/XLcFoPyt06

I’ll be happy to take on slimy @EricBolling ANY DAY of the week. When I’m done, I’m sure he’ll drown his sorrows with a 40-ounce.
— rolandsmartin (@rolandsmartin) November 30, 2016
Now you know @EricBolling is afraid to debate me. He’ll tuck and hide like the wimp he is. Always has. Always will. https://t.co/UfU1z4VtuI

This shows how dumb @EricBolling is. Crediting @realDonaldTrump with the @Carrier jobs is a joke. ONLY @GovPenceIN has the power to cut deal https://t.co/Qrzh58FtsE
— rolandsmartin (@rolandsmartin) November 30, 2016
FACT @EricBolling: ONLY @GovPenceIN could offer tax incentives to keep those 1,000 @Carrier jobs in Indiana. NOT Trump. https://t.co/Qrzh58FtsE
— rolandsmartin (@rolandsmartin) November 30, 2016
How dumb is @EricBolling? NUMEROUS economists say the 2009 stimulus bill kept America from going into a depression. https://t.co/Qrzh58FtsE
— rolandsmartin (@rolandsmartin) November 30, 2016
So @ericbolling, take this Twitter butt kicking like a man. When you’re ready to debate me, just call. I’ll even kick your butt in an ascot. https://t.co/Qrzh58FtsE
— rolandsmartin (@rolandsmartin) November 30, 2016
I’m done dealing with @EricBolling, who has never met a fact he can’t screw up. Now back to the Charlotte news conference. https://t.co/Qrzh58FtsE

“I’ll even kick your butt in an ascot,” said Martin. Eric Bolling has not yet responded on his own social media feed to any of Martin’s charges. But OH BOY, Mediaite is already looking forward to the (unlikely) mano a mano battle, should Bolling ever accept.
UPDATE: 11:47 a.m. EST: Mr. Ascot himself responded directly to Mediaite offering an update, letting us know that “weak kneed,” Eric Bolling blocked him on Twitter.
Update your story @Mediaite. Weak kneed @EricBolling blocked me. In fact, I was about to follow him to DM me when he’s ready to debate! https://t.co/7xSrRTbEY4
