Futurama Voice Actor Suggests Covington Students Deserve Death Threats: ‘You Reap What You Sow’

John DiMaggio, a voice over actor who has played characters in T.V. shows such as Futurama and Adventure Time, suggested on Twitter that the Covington Catholic High School students involved in Saturday’s viral incident deserved the death threats they have been receiving.
I’ve never in my life said “Well, those are well-deserved death threats.”, but I’ve also learned to never say never… #fuckthempunkasswhitekids https://t.co/9J2znDUBGM

DiMaggio followed-up saying that while he does not think “death threats are ok,” he still believes people reap what they sow.
“PUNK ASS KIDS KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING,” he wrote.
I’m not saying death threats are ok, but you reap what you sow. That’s my point. PUNK ASS KIDS KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING. And I did see the video. Israelites? We deal with them in NYC on the street all the time, shouting their shit. So what? Those kids? #glasshouses

In a video made by two Covington students, they explained they have not only gotten death threats, but they and their families had doxxed multiple times, even ones who were not in Washington, D.C. that weekend.
“There have been many threats against our lives, against our parents. Some of these include that we should be locked in the school and it should be burned to the ground, the school being bombed, school shooting threats,” student Sam explained. “It’s really scary, I know a lot of people are scared to go to school tomorrow and won’t be attending because of what could happen.”
