George W. Bush: Bill Clinton’s My ‘Brother from Another Mother’
Being an ex-president seems like fun. Aside from all the stately activities one might engage in, there also exists the potential for #synergy with your ex-prez buddies to sell some books. George W. Bush and Bill Clinton did just that late Wednesday evening.
The latter (or his fun and quirky staffer) tweeted a photograph of himself reading Bush’s new book, 41: A Portrait of My Father, while teasing his successor for not being on Twitter. Note the use of super-hot hashtags, cuz that’s what the kidz do:
Received my copy of #41 by #43, George W. Bush. Touching tribute! #HowAreYouSTILLNotOnTwitter #PresidentialTweeters pic.twitter.com/ECWvElzG44
— Bill Clinton (@billclinton) November 12, 2014
Bush (or his fun and quirky staffer) responded in kind by screen-grabbing the tweet and posting it to Instagram (meta?), teasing his predecessor for not being on the photo-sharing medium yet. Oh, and he also called Clinton his “brother from another mother”:
