German Soccer Goalie is Arrested for Allowing 43 Goals in One Game
Marco Kwiotek — a goalie for the SV Vonderort soccer team in Germany — had the dubious honor of giving up 43 goals in a single game last week. Yes, Kwiotek gave up all 43 goals. (Did this team not have a backup?)
Kwiotek’s goalkeeping for SV Vondemort (a professional team, apparently) was criminal, some might say. Well, it turns out police in Bottrop, Germany thought so too.
Five days after surrendering the 43 goals, police came to the soccer pitch were SV Vonderort was practicing (and boy do they need it) and arrested Kwiotek on unspecified charges — according to the German newspaper Express

“They just want to clear some things up.” Kwiotek said to his teammates, per The Sun, as he was being hauled away.
Yeah, like how he could possibly allow so many goals in one game.
