Glenn Beck and Glenn Greenwald Agree: Bush vs. Clinton 2016 Is ‘Sickening’

Two men named Glenn who, at first glance, might not have much in common, found some major common ground today when they sat down for an hour-long interview on TheBlaze. Yes, Glenn Greenwald visited Glenn Beck‘s radio show on Friday and as you can see from the clip below, they are on the same page when it comes to the 2016 presidential election.

Asked by Beck what he thinks when he hears the words “President Hillary Clinton,” Greenwald said, “Horror and nightmares.”

“I think that having a Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton election, as sickening and depressing as that is, will be really clarifying,” Greenwald continued. “Because, where is American meritocracy in this?”

If it were up to him, Beck said he would like to see Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) in the general election, if only because their views are so diametrically opposed. “Let’s have a real debate!” he said, adding that “in strange ways, their principles of the Constitution bind them together.”

“How much more interesting and healthy and enlivening would that be to have a real debate?” Greenwald asked. He agreed with Beck that Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton are “interchangeable” and said “Wall Street is just praying for” them to be the candidates.

And just like that, Glenn Beck and Glenn Greenwald became life-long friends.
