Glenn Beck Hammers ‘Arrogant’ CNN for Still Going on About Ted Nugent

When Glenn Beck made his big “apology” a few weeks ago, the media absolutely went to town on it, and Beck was annoyed that the media was so fixated on his issues they didn’t bother questioning what role they might have played in hurting the country too. And Beck found the same exact blindness evident in how CNN’s covered the Ted Nugent fracas.

Beck brought up Nugent’s intense interview Monday with Erin Burnett. Co-host Pat Gray said Burnett took a “snotty attitude,” and Beck said that in spite of CNN’s constant hammering of the issue and demanding a sincere apology, Nugent has called plenty of people (Beck included) to apologize and make sure people know he feels bad about his outlandish remarks.

Beck said that in his case, the media jumped in “without any self-reflection on their role” and “they’re so arrogant” they’re doing it again with Nugent. He said when he used to work on CNN (he had a show on Headline News before moving to Fox News), he warned them “what you’re doing is not going to work” and they looked down on him. Beck cried, “You’d be better off if you put Larry King on. And Larry King has been dead since 1978!”
