Glenn Beck: President Trump Would Work Overnight to Shut Down The Blaze

It’s no secret that Glenn Beck and Donald Trump don’t much care for each other, with each of them throwing shade over the past few months. During today’s episode of his radio program, Beck launched a discussion on what a Trump would mean for the media if he manages to win the presidency.

Beck brought up a recent interview between Mitt Romney and David Axelrod, where Romney discussed how changes and evolution in media caused a shift in political division ever since his 2012 presidential run. Romney described how non-traditional media has allowed “insurgents” on both sides to gain stronger voices, and that it allows them to perpetuate extreme positions and refuse to compromise with establishment politicians.

Beck and Pat Gray refuted Romney’s “lie” by saying that it was non-traditional news outlets like The Blaze that enabled conservatives to take a hard line against making unnecessary compromises with Democrats. Gray argued that that Romney’s presidency would make an effort to stifle the network, which led beck to wonder what could happen to them if President Trump tried to put them down.

“Donald Trump would put us out of business overnight,” Beck said. “He would put us out of business. He would work tirelessly to put us out of business.”
