Haaretz Calls Sen. Al Franken Gay

Hmmm… someone’s social media intern seems to have raided the liquor cabinet this afternoon:

Haaretz quickly deleted the tweet, but not before lots of people noticed.

And so goes any possibility of a future Franken cameo on SNL as “Big Gay Al” (sorry, South Park). Franken’s wife of 40 years, Franni Bryson, would’ve surely enjoyed it.

(Also: If he were gay, why would that matter in regards to his support for the Iran deal? Lots to chew on here.)
