Sean Hannity Goes Off on Anderson Cooper: ‘More Like Jerry Springer Than a Newscaster’

Sean Hannity has spent much of the week on defense, following the revelation that he was the mysterious third client of Michael Cohen — lawyer for President Donald Trump. Wednesday night, he went on offense against a timeslot rival.

Halfway through his program, the Fox News host blasted CNN’s Anderson Cooper for what he considered to be an overly salacious interview with Stormy Daniels.

“The dramatic collapse of CNN makes more sense when you look at Anderson Cooper,” Hannity said. “More like Jerry Springer than a newscaster.”

To drive home his point, Hannity threw to a package featuring clips of Cooper’s 60 Minutes interview with Daniels spliced together with clips of similar questions from Springer’s show.

“When you juxtapose his questions with Jerry Springer, I mean, what is happening there?” Hannity said.

Remarkably, at the exact same time Hannity jabbed at Cooper and CNN, Cooper took a swipe at Hannity and Fox News. You can check out Cooper’s segment here.
