Here’s Some Loon Who Thinks George Zimmerman Is Like Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela hadn’t been gone for more than a few hours when former presidential candidate Rick Santorum began using his death to compare the Affordable Care Act to the horrors of apartheid of Fox News. Now, WND contributor Jack Cashill has gone leaps and bounds further by comparing George Zimmerman to Mandela.

The author of ‘If I had a Son’: Race, Guns, and the Railroading of George Zimmerman, which tells the story of how the media turned the acquitted Florida man into “the most hated man in America,” made his comments on the Christian network theDove.

“George Zimmerman may have been the least racist person in the state of Florida,” Cashill said, a statement that would be exceedingly hard to prove even with the tidbits of evidence he presented regarding his “mentoring” of two black teenagers and support of a black homeless man.

Regarding the U.S. Justice Department’s efforts to investigate Zimmerman, Cashill added, “It’s like going after Nelson Mandela on civil rights, or Mother Teresa.”

That’s right, there is someone who actually thinks George Zimmerman is no different than Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa.
