Herman Cain: ‘Doesn’t Bother Me’ That I’m Not President, I’ve Got a Radio Show
After a public speech last week declaring that he “damn near” became president in 2012, Herman Cain wants everyone to know that he’s not bothered by his loss. He’s living it up with his media career.
“Let’s get this out of the way right off the bat,” Cain wrote in a new column for his Cain TV website, which is not actually a TV website. “It doesn’t bother me that I did not become president of the United States after trying to do so. I’m having the best time of my life hosting my radio show, running this web site, speaking at events across the country and generally enjoying life.”
During the Republican presidential primary, Cain enjoyed a brief stint atop of the polls. His campaign was memorably torpedoed by multiple reports that he was a womanizer who had had extramarital affairs.
