Horrified High Schoolers Capture Video of Teacher Fighting with Student

A California high school teacher has been placed on leave after being caught on video wrestling with a student in a classroom. Mark Black is both a science teacher and a wrestling coach, and he got in a very serious physical confrontation with an unnamed student.

The school superintendent called the video “incredibly alarming” and Black was placed on leave immediately. She said, “Based on the [sic] what I have viewed, the kind of physical restraint used by the teacher is unacceptable.”

Several students told KTLA that they believed the brawl was over Black finding out that the student was selling drugs in class, but that has not been confirmed.
