After years of postseason futility, Clayton Kershaw has been nothing short of remarkable in the 2016 playoffs for the LA Dodgers. The incredible southpaw has pitched in all of LA’s four postseason victories thus far, including Sunday night’s 1-0 blanking of the Chicago Cubs in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series in which Kershaw tossed seven sparkling frames.
But at some point, LA is going to have to figure out a way to win without the brilliant Kershaw. Their No. 2 starter, Rich Hill, will take the ball on Tuesday night in Game 3 of the NLCS, with the series tied 1-1.
The Cubs, on the other hand, are not guaranteed another home game just yet. They’ll have to win at least once in Los Angeles to bring the series back to Wrigley Field. Jake Arrieta gets the call on the mound in Game 3 for Chicago on Tuesday.
First pitch is at 8:00 p.m. ET. The game will air on Fox Sports 1. Joe Buck and John Smoltz have the call. The action can be streamed free with a cable subscription on pc, cell phone, or tablet via Fox Sports Go — which can be downloaded via the iTunes store, the Google Play store, and the Windows store.
