How to Watch the Lions-Vikings NFL Thanksgiving Day Game Live Stream Online

The Thanksgiving NFL slate kicks off, as it has each year since 1945, with the Detroit Lions playing at home. This year, unlike many previous, the home team is actually worth watching. So too, for that matter, is the road team — the Minnesota Vikings, in what should be an entertaining NFC Central showdown.
The Vikings come in at 8-2 and most assuredly have big plans for January and perhaps even February. Winners of six straight, Minnesota has joined the NFC elite despite major uncertainty at the quarterback position. Case Keenum, who took over for the injured Sam Bradford in Week 2, has done a fine job in recent weeks. But Teddy Bridgewater — a pro-bowler as a rookie in 2015 before suffering a devastating knee injury in Aug. 2016 — is waiting in the wings. The job is Keenum’s for now, but with a team this good, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer probably won’t hesitate to make the switch, should Keenum struggle.
Case Keenum’s last defeat came in Week 4 at the hands of these very same Lions. At 6-4, Detroit is certainly in the hunt for a Wild Card berth. But they have every right to think bigger. A win Thursday, and Detroit would sit just one game behind Minnesota with five games remaining. Further, they’d own the tiebreaker, by virtue of two head-to-head wins. The stakes are enormous for Detroit. Win, and they have a major chance to win their division, and perhaps even secure a first-round bye. Lose, and they’re in serious danger of missing the playoffs altogether in a highly competitive NFC.
Kickoff is at 12:30 p.m. ET. The game will air on FOX. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman have the call. The action can be streamed free with a cable subscription on pc, cell phone, or tablet via Fox Sports Go — which can be found here. The Fox Sports Go app can be downloaded via the iTunes store, and the Google Play store.
