Howard Stern Claims Trump is ‘Embarrassed’ By Wall Fight: It’s Something ‘Morons Can Get Behind’

Howard Stern is not a fan of his old pal President Donald Trump‘s border wall.

Wednesday during his SiriusXM radio show (via the Washington Examiner), Stern blasted the idea of a wall on the Southern border.

“The wall’s a problem because it’s a waste of money, even Donald knows that,” Stern said. He added, “The wall’s a simplistic answer to our problems with immigration. It’s something that, you know, morons can get behind because they’re like, ‘Oh yeah, if you build a wall no one can get over it.’”

Stern, who has had Trump as a guest on his program countless times over the years, believes that Trump himself doesn’t actually want the wall, and that he’s only fighting for it now to avoid backlash from prominent conservatives.

“Even Donald’s not into this wall,” Stern said. “It’s just he’s embarrassed because he can’t get it and Rush Limbaugh shamed him.”
