Howie Mandel Pulls Out Kid’s Tooth Despite Germaphobia
Comedian Howie Mandel briefly broke his documented aversion to germs during a commercial break on the set of America’s Got Talent, which taped on Tuesday.
Mandel suffers from a severe case of mysophobia, which is the pathological fear of germs, contamination, and just about everything else that can fall under the contagion umbrella. According to Gossip Cop, however, Mandel very, very briefly broke said fear when warm-up comedian Tom Kelley bet him to pull out a kid’s tooth.
Not only did Mandel do it, with surgical gloves and all, but he also joked about the whole affair and said he’d be up for a “pap smear” next. Gross.
