Huggies Jean Diapers Makes Jeggings Seem Totally Normal

Is there anything wrong with casting a baby as some sort of wildly sexy playboy strutting through the city making both women and men double-take at its raw, unleashed sensual energy? That’s for the diaper-buying population to decide, thanks to Huggies and their new ad for — wait for it — denim diapers. Not actual denim, but denim-look, and certainly denim-sexxxy. So sexxxy it’s a limited-edition run.

I have to be honest, I have no problem with this ad, though I’ve seen a few “what if this was a FEMALE baby and MEN were ogling it as a sex object??” comments — it’s hilariously tongue-in-cheek and makes no apology for its attempt to appeal to a more…pampered clientele. There’s really no mistaking “I’ve got a diaper full of chic” or “I poo in blue” — nor the classy tagline, “The coolest you’ll look pooping your pants,” which some networks insisted was too much information, so went with the slightly sanitized, “When you gotta go, go in style.” Either way, it certainly makes for good viral video — and will probably sell lots of diapers. Parents are crazy. And plus, that baby is totally hot.
