Israeli Official: Iran Is Behind Recent Terror Attacks on Us

The main objection to President Barack Obama‘s nuclear deal from Israel and its key supporters has been that it does not force the majority Islamic state to recognize a “clear and unambiguous Iranian recognition of Israel’s right to exist,” and that it does not effectively render impossible the odds of Iran building a nuclear weapon with which to possibly attack the Jewish State.

As such, on Sunday evening a senior Israel Defense Forces (IDF) official claimed that the Iranian government is behind recent attacks on Israel’s Golan Heights from neighboring Syria. According to Haaretz, the officer said it is “clear” that Iran has used funds to train and arm Hezbollah militants along the Syrian-Israel border.

While Israeli officials hasn’t backed up the assertion on-record, the claims will obviously harden the government’s opinion against Obama’s nuke deal and could become a focus in Israel’s attempt to convince the rest of the world that Iran is determined to destroy the world’s only Jewish State.
