It’s Happening! NBC Orders 10 Episodes Of Will & Grace Revival

First, there was the reunion special that was organized to support Hillary Clinton‘s run for President. Then, there were the rumors. Now, it’s finally all confirmed: Will & Grace is coming back!

According to Entertainment Weekly, NBC has ordered 10 episodes of the revamp of the beloved late-90s sitcom. Yeah, you read that right. Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes, and Megan Mullally are back together again, as are creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, who will act as executive producers and showrunners.

Said NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt:

We’re thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and most defining comedies in NBC history is coming back. This groundbreaking series for everything from gay rights to social and political commentary — all disguised as a high-speed train of witty pop culture — is coming back where it belongs.

There was talk that the series might be picked up by a streaming service like Netflix or Hulu, but NBC seems happy to have it back.
